This zone contains mailservers of Dutch business- and consumer ISPs which qualify
for addition via the current policy guidelines:
- The relay- and forwarding servers of entities which operate their own
autonomous system (AS) based in the Netherlands;
- The relay- and forwarding servers of Dutch access oriented consumer ISPs
with at least an IPv4 /16 in use in their access area network(s);
- The relay- and forwarding servers of Dutch business oriented ISPs
with at least an IPv4 /20 assigned address space and in use.
Next to these quantifiable guidelines, admission to the whitelist is bound to
the following policies:
- A clear and transparent abuse policy
- A role email account which can be addressed with regards to use and
abuse of the mailserver(s), with an active supervision of the abuse policy
- Mailservers must strip outbound (bounce) messages of virusses
This list is open for subscription by any party who fits the above policy.
Please contact dnsbl@bit.nl with
justification if you would like your mailservers to be added to the Dutch ISP
Whitelist. Note that we will check the appropriate whois-database to check the
size of the assigned network(s) and expect the information to be accurate.
