Peering

Peering Policy

We do not let political issues get in the way of what is good for the Internet as a network. Therefore we will peer with anyone who wants us to at the AMS-IX, NL-IX, DE-CIX, LINX and GN-IX.

BIT does not require MNDA's or written peering agreements, but if your company does, we will be happy to sign them (if we agree to the content).

In principal, we do not filter incoming route announcements. We trust our peers until they have proven to be untrustworthy. In other words: We will not filter your announcements until you screw up.

We will not buy transit traffic from companies who denied peering requests from us.
